Ingleside is the umbrella organization of three premier, not-for-profit life plan communities located within the Washington metropolitan area, including Ingleside at Rock Creek, Westminster Lake Ridge, and Ingleside at King Farm. Ingleside exemplifies “engaged living” and is committed to furthering the diversity and overall wellness of each of its communities.
Ingleside also manages the Westminster Ingleside Foundation, a charitable organization; and Ingleside at Home, a home care services company providing support services for those aging in place.
Since 2014, FOVNDRY has increased Ingleside’s brand awareness and profile via comprehensive, surround-sound communication efforts that highlight Ingleside programs and initiatives—including community expansion and driving new resident leads in the area’s increasingly competitive senior living market.
With such an array of stories to share, Ingleside needed a content strategy to reflect that strength. FOVNDRY manages media opportunities to elevate Ingleside as an authority in the senior living space, highlighting the programs and people that set their communities apart. FOVNDRY has also promoted Ingleside’s thought leadership efforts by securing speaking engagements and media interviews. Additionally, FOVNDRY’s writers work in tandem with Ingleside’s marketing team—providing concepts and copy for their quarterly advertising and direct mail campaigns.
FOVNDRY collaborated with Today Show producers and Ingleside to prepare an on-site shoot for high school students teaching residents how to use technology for a Today segment. The story appeared on the Today Show, which has around 4 million viewers per week, and on the website, which has a reach of over 58 million unique viewers who generate over 1.2 billion-page views and 140 million monthly video streams.
FOVNDRY has also transformed Ingleside stories into TV commercials and community videos, and provided full-day video shoots with Ingleside staff and residents. News coverage of services, resident stories, leadership announcements, and awards appeared in local and national media, estimated to have reached over 150 million people.
